Welcome to Young At Heart!

My name is Jennifer and I’m a 26 year old girl that happens to LOVE Young Adult literature. I graduated college in 2009 with a Bachelor’s in Clinical Laboratory Science. I work as a Medical Technologist in a hospital laboratory on Long Island, where I was born and raised. I am currently going back to school to get a second Bachelor’s degree in English and am excited about the many opportunities it will give me!

In July 2012 I married my soulmate and we are having a great time getting adjusted to married life! We live with our two puppies who we love unconditionally but drive us crazy and we just welcomed our first child this past July!!

Reading is my passion and I can usually be found curled up with a book (or Nook) in hand and a puppy or two on my lap. My favorite type of young adult books are dystopian and post-apocalyptic, but I love any story with a strong female protagonist! I’m very excited to share my thoughts and opinions by reviewing YA books on my blog.
