My good friend Shari over at Gossip Cop sent me a news article today that announced that Shailene Woodley is apparently a top contender to play Hazel in The Fault In Our Stars. This was one of my favorites books from 2012 so I am super excited to see it brought to film. I think Woodley did a great job in The Descendants and I can see her doing an equally excellent job in The Fault In Our Stars, although since she has been cast as Tris in the film version of Divergent, I’m wondering where she is going to find the time to make both films!
Entertainment Weekly put up the new trailer for The Host last week and it looks pretty good! I definitely enjoyed The Host way more than Stephenie Meyer’s obviously more well known Twilight, and I’m interested to see how the film turns out. I’ll see anything that stars Max Irons!
Hypable reports that while the CW has given The Selection another chance at a pilot, only one actor from the original pilot will be remaining–Sean Patrick Thomas. It seems that Aimee Teegarden and William Moseley will not be playing America and Aspen in the new pilot, and the entire show will be recast!
And finally, The Maze Runner has been given a release date of February 14, 2014! Not exactly the type of movie I would expect to be released on Valentine’s Day, but I am excited that it’s less than a year away!

Young At Heart 
So many YA movies coming out, I’m enjoying them all. Warm Bodies is a great one. Have you seen it? It takes YA and adds the hot zombie genre to create an inventive movie filled with interesting relationships and scenarios. I’m not going to spoil the fun, but it’s worth checking out! 🙂
